Job Description
Job Title: Injection Moulding Machine Setter
Location: Wolverhampton
Hours: Mon–Thu 08:00–17:00 | Fri 08:00–12:30
Pay Rate: £14.00–£15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
About the role:
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Injection Moulding Machine Setter to join a well-established precision engineering business in Wolverhampton. The role involves setting up and operating injection moulding machines and producing high-quality components to strict specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate injection moulding machines, controlling cycle times, temperatures, and pressures
• Load materials and monitor machine parameters to ensure consistent quality
• Inspect moulded parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and defects
• Install, align, remove, and maintain moulds
• Record production data, scrap rates, and support process improvements
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
Candidate Requirements (Mandatory):
• Demonstrated experience across all injection moulding operations
• Competent in quality control, mould setup and handling, process monitoring, and routine maintenance
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and accurately use inspection tools
• Committed to health and safety with a reliable and professional approach
