Part-Time Maintenance Support / Coordinator
Location: Dudley

About the Role
We are a long-established forgings company based in Dudley looking to recruit a Part-Time Maintenance Support / Coordinator. This role will provide key day-to-day support to the maintenance function, helping organise, track, and coordinate maintenance activities within a busy industrial manufacturing environment.
This position is ideal for someone with experience working alongside maintenance teams who enjoys organising tasks, keeping records up to date, and ensuring maintenance activities run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Maintain and update maintenance records, logs, and job sheets
- Assist in planning maintenance activities to minimise production downtime
- Liaise with maintenance engineers, production staff, and external contractors
- Raise purchase orders and assist with ordering spares, parts, and consumables
- Track breakdowns, repairs, and completed maintenance work
- Support compliance with health & safety and site procedures
- Provide general office and administrative support related to maintenance activities
Requirements
- Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment
- Experience supporting or coordinating maintenance activities (formal or informal)
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Confident using basic IT systems (Excel, Word, email, maintenance logs)
- Able to communicate effectively with engineers, contractors, and management
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Good understanding of health & safety in an industrial setting
