Administrator

Pay Rate: £14.37 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location:  Haymarket
Contract: ASAP start – 3 months
Clearance: Basic Disclosure required

Our client is recruiting an experienced Administrator to provide comprehensive support to the Board and the Business Management Unit (BMU). This is a fast-paced role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing administrative support to the Board and the Business Management Unit (BMU)
  • Acting as the first point of contact for applicant enquiries via telephone and email, handling queries appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Managing the shared inbox
  • Undertaking reception duties during interviews and acting as a contact point for applicants, consultees, and Board Members
  • Assisting with arranging travel and accommodation when required
  • Supporting the Business Support Officer/PA with monthly Board Members’ fees and travel & subsistence claims
  • Progressing tasks linked to the Board’s Records Management Plan, including electronic and physical filing
  • Extracting statistical information from recruitment and other systems
Key Skills: 
  • Strong IT skills Word/Excel
  • Previous experience in a similar role 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Able to multi task
