Contract: Temporary (12 weeks) | Full Time (37 hours)
Pay: up to £14.89 per hour DOE


We are recruiting for a Community Safety Assistant to join a friendly team on a 12-week temporary contract. This is a varied and rewarding role focused on keeping neighbourhoods safe and supporting vulnerable residents.
The Role

• Manage a diverse caseload of community safety and safeguarding issues
• Tackle anti-social behaviour using appropriate tools and legal powers
• Support victims of domestic abuse
• Progress legal cases through the court process
• Attend multi-agency meetings and work closely with partner organisations
• Carry out home and neighbourhood visits (mileage paid)

About You

• Experience dealing with anti-social behaviour and safeguarding cases
• Knowledge of enforcement tools and relevant legislation
• Confident managing complex cases and sensitive situations
• Strong communication and partnership-working skills
• A proactive team player with a customer-focused approach
