Housing Solutions Officer
Location: Local London Authority (Hybrid – 3 days office based)
Rate of Pay: £23.07 per hour (PAYE) / £29.35 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: 4 months, Full-time

Are you passionate about preventing homelessness and supporting residents to secure safe, sustainable housing? We’re seeking a proactive Housing Solutions Officer to join our dedicated team, providing critical housing advice and making sound, lawful decisions under the Housing Act 1996 and Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
The roleAs a key member of the Housing Solutions service, you’ll manage a caseload of housing and homelessness applications, deliver person-centred housing options interviews, and work collaboratively with residents to create and maintain Personal Housing Plans. You’ll also liaise with partner agencies and landlords to prevent homelessness wherever possible and ensure all statutory duties are fulfilled with accuracy and integrity.

Working arrangementThis is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office to maintain close contact with residents and colleagues.
