Marine Solicitor (Partner), 7+ Years PQE, Exeter, £Competitive (DOE) - We are looking for an experienced Marine Solicitor to join a highly regarded Marine team in Exeter at Partner level. This is an exceptional opportunity for an established lawyer with 7+ years' PQE and a strong track record of advising clients within the ports and marine sector.REF:4681.
THE ROLE:
• This impressive Marine team is recognised as a Tier 1 practice in Legal 500 2026, with clients praising their market-leading expertise and longstanding relationships across the sector.
• This role offers the chance to become part of a thriving and ambitious practice with a substantial pipeline of high-quality work.
• You will work with an established client portfolio while helping to further develop relationships across the sector.
• Your caseload will include ports and harbour law, marine regulatory matters, commercial and logistics agreements, dispute resolution and litigation and coastal or port infrastructure and development
• From the outset, you'll play a key role in leading complex matters, mentoring colleagues where appropriate, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Marine Solicitors with a minimum of 7 Years PQE
• Strong technical expertise and commercial awareness.
• A genuine passion for the ports and marine industry.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience of business development, networking and winning work.
• The confidence to lead matters independently and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
