CNC Operator

Pertemps are working with an established manufacturing business located in Alton who are looking for an experienced CNC Setter and Operator to join their growing team.  

 

Responsibilities as a CNC Setter and Operator :

• Setting and operating of two different CNC Machines, predominately lathes 
  
  
• Inspection of own work to ensure it meets quality standards
  
  
• Reading technical drawings 
  
  
• De-burring
  
  
• Manual Turning/ milling
  
  

 

Requirements:

• Experience in setting and operating CNC Machines
  
  
• TIG welding experience is advantageous
  
  
• Hard working and reliable
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail
  
  
• Ability to work as part of a small manufacturing team. 
  
   
  
   
  
  

The CNC Setter & Operator role:

• Based in Alton 
  
  
• Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm
  
  
• £14 per hour, rising to £14.50 after 3 months 
  
  
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service)
