Job Description

Our client is an award-winning fit-out contractor with an exceptional reputation in their field and a long-standing name within the industry. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Business Development Executive to support and expand the service & warranty side of the business.

This is a varied and proactive role where you’ll play a key part in driving growth while supporting both the sales and customer service functions.

This is a fully office-based role with no hybrid working. Due to the office location, own transport is essential.

Key Duties include:
  • Proactively contacting existing, lapsed and new customers to identify opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline
  • Promoting and selling service & warranty packages
  • Supporting the Business Development Manager with quotes, appointment coordination and marketing materials
  • Assisting the Customer Service team during busy periods by handling incoming enquiries, booking Engineers and answering customer queries
  • Maintaining and updating the CRM system with customer records and sales activity

The ideal candidate:
  • A proactive, forward-thinking individual with a strong sales background (ideally within an engineering, construction or technical environment)
  • Confident managing and growing customer accounts through relationship building
  • Passionate about delivering first-class customer service
  • Comfortable using MS Office and quick to pick up new CRM systems
  • Able to balance sales activity with admin and customer support tasks

The Package:
  • Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
  • Starting salary of £35,000pa + uncapped commission
