Part-Time Receptionist (Temporary) – £15.30 per hour – 3 days per week – Camden
A current DBS check is highly desirable.
One of the UK’s largest charities is seeking an experienced and professional Receptionist to provide front-of-house and administrative support at their busy centre in Camden.
This is a temporary position starting ASAP (subject to checks) for an initial 6‑week period, paying £15.30 per hour.
Working pattern: 3 days per week, 9am–5pm (1‑hour unpaid lunch).

As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, families, and professionals, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and well‑organised environment. You will support the onsite team with day‑to‑day administrative tasks, helping services run smoothly so colleagues can focus on supporting children and families.

- Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate room bookings
- Support communication within the team and with families and external professionals
- Carry out routine health & safety checks
- Provide general administrative support as required
About You
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience in reception or front‑of‑house roles, including taking accurate messages
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and administrative systems
- A calm, professional manner and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to use initiative
- Experience providing administrative support in a busy environment
