🌟 The Role

• Support teaching and learning within a Year 2 classroom
• Provide 1:1 and small group support where required
• Assist with phonics, early literacy and numeracy interventions
• Help prepare engaging classroom resources and activities
• Support positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider KS1 team
• Full-time, long-term position with potential to become permanent

✅ Requirements

• Previous experience working in a primary school (KS1 desirable)
• Good understanding of phonics and early learning
• Patient, proactive and reliable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with young learners
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Relevant TA qualification desirable but not essential
