We are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Officer to join a busy Housing Management team based in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced tenancy management environment.

The Role You will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive tenancy management service, supporting residents and ensuring sustainable tenancies across the borough.
Key duties include:
- Identifying vulnerable residents and working with partner agencies to support tenancy sustainment
- Managing all aspects of tenancy management including successions, assignments and mutual exchanges
- Handling legal housing matters, preparing statements and attending court where required
- Managing anti-social behaviour cases through proactive case management and resolution strategies
- Investigating boundary disputes and property-related issues
- Maintaining accurate case records and providing regular updates to residents and stakeholders
- Working creatively to develop solutions that support residents and communities
- Has previous experience working as a Housing Officer within a local authority or social housing setting
- Is resilient, confident and able to manage challenging situations professionally
- Has strong knowledge of tenancy management and ASB casework
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Can work independently, including lone working where required
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has daily access to a car
