Contract Role | Full Time | 3 days onsite hybrid position
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Officer to join a Local Authority team in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional who is confident delivering frontline tenancy management services and supporting residents within a busy social housing environment.
The Role As a Housing Officer, you will manage a designated patch and provide a high-quality tenancy management service, ensuring residents are supported to sustain their tenancies and communities remain safe and well managed.

The Role As a Housing Officer, you will manage a designated patch and provide a high-quality tenancy management service, ensuring residents are supported to sustain their tenancies and communities remain safe and well managed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all aspects of tenancy management
- Handling anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases from investigation through to resolution
- Supporting vulnerable residents and working with partner agencies
- Conducting estate inspections and tenancy visits
- Managing tenancy breaches, successions and mutual exchanges
- Preparing legal documentation and attending court where required
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with housing policies
- Previous experience working as a Housing Officer within a local authority or housing association
- Strong knowledge of tenancy management and ASB legislation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Confident working with residents in challenging situations
