Job Title: Domestic Abuse Coordinator
Location: West London (Hybrid Working)
Rate: £37 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Ongoing Contract
Hours: Full Time – Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Domestic Abuse Coordinator to join a West London Local Authority on a hybrid working basis. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in strengthening housing responses to domestic abuse and improving outcomes for survivors across the borough.
You will coordinate the council’s housing response to domestic abuse, ensuring compliance with statutory duties while working collaboratively across Housing, Community Safety and external partner organisations.

You will coordinate the council’s housing response to domestic abuse, ensuring compliance with statutory duties while working collaboratively across Housing, Community Safety and external partner organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the council’s housing response to domestic abuse across departments
- Develop and implement local Domestic Abuse Housing strategies aligned with regional and national frameworks
- Review existing policies, procedures and housing pathways to ensure compliance with Domestic Abuse legislation
- Work closely with partners, including the GLA and specialist domestic abuse services
- Analyse housing and domestic abuse data to identify service gaps and drive improvements
- Support statutory reporting requirements and monitor delivery against strategic objectives
- Promote a trauma-informed, survivor-focused approach across housing services
- Deliver briefings, presentations and training to internal teams and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of domestic abuse, housing, homelessness or social housing services
- Experience working within a local authority, housing or VAWG environment
- Ability to manage projects and deliver service improvements from concept to implementation
- Passion for improving outcomes for survivors of domestic abuse
