Job Description

X2 Commercial Maintenance Electricians – Surrey & Merton Cover.

My Client are a mechanical engineering who have been in operation for over 50 years providing mechanical engineering solutions to their diverse portfolio of clients.

They seek a X2 Maintenance Electricians to carry out services maintenance and repair Predominantly to their contracts across Surrey and Merton.

Contracts include : Civic Buildings, Wimbledon Tennis Club, Libraries, Community Centres, Fire Stations, Schools and Offices


Your role will be to work on  van mobile basis across Merton & Surrey carrying out the following works :
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and breakdowns
  • Installing, testing, and commissioning electrical equipment and systems
  • Ensuring electrical systems comply with UK regulations (e.g. BS 7671 – IET Wiring Regulations)
  • Responding to emergency call-outs and unplanned maintenance issue

 Qualifications desired :
  • NVQ Level 2 and 3 EAS / Electrotechnical discipline
  • JIB Gold Card (AM2 or AM2E equivalency pass)
  • Test and Inspect Qualification
  • 18th Edition
  • Minium 5 years post qualification experience
  • Live within a reasonable distance of Merton District / South London / Surrey East
 

Package on offer :

£40-48k dependant on experience and qualifications held.
  • Van, fuel card, uniform, tablet, phone and training provided
  • Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with half hour lunch
  • Private use of van allowed
  • Overtime available
  • Call Out mandatory on 1 in 7 basis and with £200 per week retainer and paid x1.5 door to door
  • SSP
  • 28 days holiday per annum (with additional service rewards for years of service)
