Blind Dave Heeley and his three daughters, who were backed in their London Marathon effort by Pertemps, visited Meriden Hall to thank Lifetime President Tim Watts for his support – and to show off their finishers’ medals.

It was the 17th (and last!) time Dave, from West Bromwich, had run the world-famous event, but a first for his three daughters, Dannie, Grace and Georgie.

The quartet have raised nearly £40,000 for the West Brom Foundation, which helps children in the area.

Dave said: “It was a real experience running this time with my daughters, one I will never forget.

“I would once again like to thank Tim, and the whole team at Pertemps, for their support.”
