JOB DESCRIPTION
A Telesales Representative, also known as an Inside Sales Representative, is a professional who conducts outbound calls to potential customers with the primary goal of promoting and selling products or services. They play a critical role in generating leads, building relationships, and achieving sales targets through phone-based interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Academic qualifications may be required. Training is typically received on-the-job, supplemented by short courses in practical skills. NVQs/SVQs in Sales at Levels 2 and 3 and apprenticeships are available.
TASKS
- Initiate and handle outbound calls to potential customers using a prepared script or talking points..
- Clearly and persuasively communicate the features, benefits, and value propositions of products or services to generate interest..
