Job Description
For our client, a leading luxury architecture and interior design practice renowned for creating characterful spaces that reflect the individuality of their clients, we are seeking a Senior Interior Designer. With a dedicated team of 50 specialists, including architects, interior designers, and technicians working seamlessly under one roof, the studio offers a truly holistic, multi-disciplinary approach. This synergy allows them to strike the perfect balance between architecture and interior design, ensuring every project is beautifully cohesive from the outside in.
This is an exciting opportunity for a designer with a refined aesthetic, excellent FF&E knowledge, and a proven track record of managing high-end projects from concept through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging design concepts, mood boards, and presentations tailored to client needs and preferences, while leading the delivery of both large and small-scale interior design projects to the studio’s high standards of quality and sophistication. Acting as a professional brand ambassador, you will build and nurture strong client relationships and represent the studio externally.
You will collaborate closely with the wider team, driving projects to be delivered on time, within budget, and to exceptional standards. Mentoring and inspiring junior designers will be a key part of the role, helping to foster both creativity and professional development. In addition, you will coordinate with suppliers to source and specify premium materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes, while maintaining strong relationships with artisans and partners.
The role also involves overseeing project budgets and timelines, ensuring smooth and timely delivery within financial constraints. Regular site visits, reviews, and inspections will be required to guarantee design integrity and flawless execution across all stages of the project.
We are looking for someone with proven experience in high-end residential interiors, a strong design sensibility, and excellent attention to detail. Advanced FF&E skills and proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp are essential. You should be a natural leader and team player, capable of inspiring and managing a creative team.
