Location: Brixton, Lambeth
Pay: £109 per day
Contract: Full-time, term-time (Primary School)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brixton, Lambeth is seeking an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding role supporting two Reception children with Autism within a nurturing early years environment.
The RoleYou will be working closely with the class teacher and SEN team to provide tailored, child-centred support. The role requires someone who is proactive, adaptable, and confident supporting children with additional needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to children with Autism
• Supporting learning through play-based and structured activities
• Encouraging communication, emotional regulation, and independence
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Implementing strategies in line with EHCPs
• Maintaining a calm, positive, and supportive environment

The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:

• Has strong SEN experience, particularly with Autism
• Has experience supporting children in Early Years or Reception
• Is comfortable and confident with personal care
• Is patient, nurturing, and resilient
• Is proactive and adaptable to the changing needs of young children
• Works effectively as part of a team
